Our restaurant and bar areas require an energetic, professional staff member who has an excellent track record in hospitality and who thrives in a fast-paced service environment. The focus is on professionalism and providing a superior customer experience. The ideal candidate must possess in depth knowledge about Food & Beverage in addition to superior customer relations skills. Excellent communication is essential to build a rapport with guests, kitchen staff and to lead your team. You will be responsible for maximising the seating efficiency of the restaurant, along with profitability and wine and beverage sales. As team leader for floor staff you must ensure the restaurant complies with RSA and liquor regulations and guidelines as well as related Food & Hygiene regulations including our Food Safety Program.
Stillwell Lodge in Charlotte Pass is seeking applications for the 2016 ski season.
This is a unique chance to actually work and live in Australia’s only ski resort that is snowed in for the entire ski season. Charlotte Pass has a village atmosphere and works as a close knit community for up to 12 weeks, with the opportunity to enjoy the mountain’s recreation activities when you are not working. Positions are salaried, contracts are based on a 38-45 hour week, over 5 days, with two days off, or 6 days with one day off.
We are looking for hard working, customer service focus individuals, with excellent references and great skills to offer our guests the very best for their 2016 ski season holiday. We need people that can really make a difference, with a happy disposition, a can do attitude, able work well as part of a team but also unsupervised at times, willing to learn and really want an experience that few get to encounter. Charlotte Pass is one of the most unique environments you will ever call home, however living in this small remote community for up to 12 weeks has its challenges and requires individuals that appreciate the isolation, are resilient, able to get along with all personalities and can commit through to the end of the season. 2016 ski season runs from June 24th to September 18th. Commencement date is 10th June for this position, to allow for pre-season training and set up.
Comfortable onsite share accommodation (with ensuites) is provided for all staff, with 3 meals per day prepared by our chefs included in your board and lodging. All you need are your personal belongings and sense of adventure.
