FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

In Australian and NZ Resorts, January sees the snow jobs vacancies start to come in, sometimes even mid December.

In the Northern Resorts, best to get in early around June/July then its cramming it in to save your cash, apply for Visa’s, getting your travel gear sorted and maybe even learning a new language.

There are jobs through the snow season as staff do leave early through injury, partying too much and maybe not for them.

It helps! A one page resume is fine. Make sure it has your correct phone and email address on it.

If you need any help putting one together, contact us.

Work clothes – black shoes, pants, long sleeve t-shirts.

A car is good to have as there is no public transport.

Money – $2000 will guarantee a great season.

Good gear – waterproof jacket, gloves, boots, beanie and a spare jacket you can loose at the pub when you forget it or if someone takes it by mistake!

Insurance – for yourself especially Ambulance cover as it can cost over $4,000 to get transported off the mountain to the nearest hospital.

Load the “Find my iPhone App” as great way to find your phone when you forget to zip up your jacket pocket. Also don’t forget ear phones/buds, a strong case plus it’s worth putting your name on the back of your phone….just a tip!
